# Privacy details: what stays on your Mac

Your files, file names and sentences never leave your Mac. Exactly what Whizra sends online: the license check.

- Your files, file names and sentences never leave your Mac. No account. No analytics or tracking in the app. The savings counter is never sent.
- What goes online: the license key is checked with Dodo Payments when you enter it and about once a week (offline never locks you out). "Tell the maker" opens your own mail app with only your sentence (no files, names or paths).
- Never overwrites or deletes your files; jobs write new files; rename and move keep Undo.
- The website (separate): cookieless visit counting only, named on the page.
