# Uninstall Whizra

How to remove Whizra from your Mac: free the license slot, quit, move it to the Trash, and remove what it kept.

1. Remove your license key first: menu-bar mark → License… → Remove (or Settings… → License → Remove). It frees that Mac's slot, so the key works on another Mac.
2. Quit Whizra: menu-bar mark → Quit (⌘Q).
3. Drag Whizra from Applications to the Trash.
4. Optional: remove what it kept on your Mac. Everything is in places named after the app's ID:

- ~/Library/Application Support/<app ID>/ : History (history.json), learned choices (learned.json), the savings counter (savings.json), the try-it sample copies (Try it/) and the language model's example cache (intent-vectors-….plist and .head)
- ~/Library/Preferences/<app ID>.plist : settings such as terminal shortcuts and your style
- ~/Library/Caches/<app ID>/ and ~/Library/HTTPStorages/<app ID>/ : system caches
- the license: in Keychain Access, the login item "<app ID>.license" (Remove in step 1 already deletes it)

1. Optional: in System Settings → Privacy & Security, remove Whizra from Accessibility and Full Disk Access.

- The language model is inside the app, so there's no separate download to delete.
- The "Do a File Job" and "Find Files" actions leave the Shortcuts app with it.
- There's no account to close.
- The files Whizra makes (compressed PDFs, converted pictures…) sit next to your files and are yours; uninstalling never touches them.
